Successful start into the professional life: shortened apprenticeship and permanent employment

After the successful completion of the apprenticeship, the ASSMANN Electronic GmbH is pleased about the additional support to its international team by Maria Grasmik and Alexander Schütte, who will continue to be available to the IT company with their knowledge.

In August 2016, Maria started her apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade, which she finished after only 2 years with an average grade of 2.0. Maria initially supports the creditor department as a stand in for parental leave in order to strengthen international sales in the long term.

Alexander Schütte can also look forward to a permanent position in external logistics, who started his apprenticeship in office management as a lateral entrant and graduated successfully after just one year with an above-average result of 1.8.

Team member at eye level and lived, open communication

“We learned a lot during our training and were allowed to work very independently. Being part of a team at eye level felt very good then and now,” Maria summarizes her period of training. “During the regular trainee meetings we were able to exchange ideas and give feedback.” Alexander adds the trip to the German Aerospace Center in Cologne to his list of highlights in the past year.

“We are very pleased that Alexander and Maria were able to achieve such good results while shortening their apprenticeships. Of course, it is our goal to bind the trainees to the company in the long term. Therefore it was only logical to offer both a permanent position,” says Sabrina Babilon, trainer of Assmann Electronic GmbH, pleased about the reinforcement to the Assmann team from the own ranks.
